WE 1911 5.1 hicappa issue

Hello doctors,
Well it finally happened to my hicappa, the no blowback issue. After reading some of the other similar hicappa problems, I couldnt find a solution to MY problem. Are the springs in the pic too bent in, too bent out, or just fucked. Also looking for proper timing in the trigger and hammer, and just overall proper reassembly. Thanks. heres some pics to help.

Are you able to shoot a BB when manually cocked? Does gas blow all out after the shot?

You actually might want to check your loading muzzle to see if it hasn't exploded/cracked.

It's a very common thing for it to happen when shooting Marui guns with propane. It's also a cheap and easy fix.

it'll shoot one bb, then stay in that 3/4 cocked posistion. Now the hammer wont even click into posistion.

In that case, it sounds like the sear spring isn't placed properly on the sear.

You shouldn't have your mid frame separated from your grip while the sear spring is still attached. It's a great way to damage it during reassembly.

Remove your main spring housing and the sear spring (leaf spring) will fall off.

Then reattach the midframe to the grip, secure the grip screws on the side and inside the midframe

Once all that is assembled, lay the sear spring in place, ensuring that it is laid on TOP of all the moving parts (the prongs should all be pushing the trigger stirrup forward, the sear forward and the disconnector forward).

Once the sear spring is in place, install the beavertail safety, and while holding it closed, insert the main spring housing and secure it with the pin.

Once all that's done, make sure the hammer is cocked back and then install your plunger spring set before installing the safety lever.

You should be good to go from there.

A friend of mine screwed-up his capa because he placed the leaf spring incorrectly.

Took 5 minutes a a pair of pliers to repair the thing...

If you are not sure on how to do it, bring it to a gundoc. It might cost you a bit more, but your capa will work again.

ok got er fixed!!!!!!!! wasnt the leaf spring, it was the little O ring in the blowback chamber. It seemed to be out of its groove. Well at least I know this gun inside and out now! Thanks for the help boys.

The o-ring blowout was an issue with older designs.

Upgrade to an aftermarket one and you won't have that problem again.

LOL, ya they were pretty fucked. Needlenose pliers took care of everything. It shoots better, and the hammer has alot more tension than when it came stock. good observation tho.
