Ok for the snipers and the gearwhole's among us.

Is this any good, it got my attention and i don't get a good idea of it.
What does it the waistbelt contain, 2 pouche's right and a uttillity pouch right??
Do i need a 2 inch belt or is it already on the waistbelt mounted??

No, you need a belt. Also, not visible is another compartment that runs the length of the waistpack.

It's good for a 1st Line setup. Has room for a couple of 556 mags, so you can save your subloads for dump bags and sidearm.

Quite a few guys I have set up, are running them on the back of the Wa/Weesatch for extra odds and ends.

Ok i have a good idea of what the waist belt does mean.
For me is this the proces of getting the right gear for my function.(sniper)
Orientation is the current job, second is saving the cash for the purchase.
I am willing to spend a huge amount of money on this but it has to be good.

Other question, is it possible to combine this with a CIRAS vest.
Why CIRAS you wouldask, i need a sturdy vest that is compatible with a number of pistol pouche's, utillity pouch for some tool's, those orange smoke, AICS mag's, grenade's, Maps, kompas, and above al speedloader and 4000BB's.

You might find that with most of the plate carriers you might have a problem with integrating them together if it's used on a belt. You could possibly attach the waist pack directly to the CIRAS with zap straps.

I have seen a sniper vest on BHI copple of month's ago, don't seem to find it any more :cry: .

Gentlemen ,
Please let me en-lighten you about how the SWP came about . Some of the Scout Snipers ( more of the Instructors ) here at Camp Lejuene carry either the Silverthrone or Denali .The bottom removeable pouch section was removed from the chest rig because they wore their chest rigs low ( further explanation follows at end of this post ) and was relocated on their rigger's belt behind themselves . It's not a fast install or removeable kit , but it insures that they do not take off and leave behind when a SHTF occurs . Being that there were already beltloops on this section to hold a duty belt if desired , they simply used it elsewhere . After time , the SS asked if I place a 3rd pouch to carry smaller items or a rifle cleaning kit within . This I did as requested upon their recommondation .
Each user used this item in different ways , carrying E & E , medical , or survival . Being that it was so hard to remove the SWP , they had no excuse to leave home without it . The main body ( long tublar section ) , most carry a sling rope or their poncho . Pop-ups could be placed here as well . Horizontal pouches X 2 , either held their med kit ( repackaged to fit ) or mags . Snipers carried the long gun , spotter carried the M-14/M-4 or other . Ammo was spread loaded amongst the 2 man team . Chow was stuffed anywhere where there was space . I have heard of many gear list that each man carried , so your list may vary depending on your mission .
Connecting to other platforms ; I have made them with PALS on the back , to 2" webbing with use of the old ALICE clips . Though it was not designed to fit on the back of a CIRAS , or other platforms , one can use their imagination and experiment to what serves them well . Don't think it may be dumb , because it might work ! Remember the CIRAS cumberbun is supposed to expand with it's elastic system . Unless the elastic has already lost it's elasticity . Make sure to account for this .

Further explanation :
Scout Snipers have better training in the art of concealment . SWP is worn under ghillie and wear their chest rigs low for a purpose and is well hidden . The SS (if wearing a chest rig) at Camp Lejuene are trained so that they can place their chest rigs forward of themselves in the prone and not casting themselves higher from the ground , turn/fold the canteen/ult pouches under and use the chest rig as a shooting platform without removing their arms out of the shoulder straps . As they return to their feet , the chest rig simply returns to the body . Wearing chest rigs high , they cannot accomplish this . Being they wear the chest rigs low , the lower section rubs their thighs as the walk or kneal down . This is why they relocated the lower removeable section to their backside . Hence the birth of the SWP .

The Denali is awsome I just got one in Auscam. If your not overly tall taking off the SWP makes it a bit more comfy also. Now if i can just get an auscam hydration panel...
