Sig SG550

This is my baby. I'm currently working on upgrading the internals, but the externals are finished, apart from a scope. It's a JG Sig SG550, with a Hurricane metal body installed. I'm well aware that the bolt and gas block are from the sg552 and not the sg550, but I could really care less, because it still looks completely badass. So here you go, please tell me what you think, I'm always looking for some constructive criticism.

Its pretty awesome, how's the weight? I'm sure i understand what your talking about, what gas block?

Anyways, I say ditch the rail and the orange tip. What loadout are you using with this?

Sergeantmajor: It's a bit front heavy, even with the metal body. I'm going to keep the rail and put a scope on it, and the orange tip will be off soon enough.

Bodydropper: I'm going to toss on a cheap illuminated tasco, just so that I don't have to worry about an expensive scope getting damaged.

Im incredibly jealous.... I want a SIG so bad.
Just a question, whats the difference between the gas-block on the 550 and 552?
Have you gamed her yet?

All I know is that they're different

I have gamed her actually, on Saturday. Excellent rate of fire, and very accurate within about 100 feet on .25s. If I had some .28s or .30s it would have been accurate out to further, but on .25s the BBs began curving up from the hop up too early.

I'm looking to get a a Sig 550 as well. From what I've read the design of the gas block on the 550 is supposed to be more of a square peg instead of the round one with a square part on it. Not a major difference at all, just some purists really have been complaining in Europe.

Those are very nice! They look like original TMs though. Do you find they creak a bit? My JG has no creak because they made the battery tray out of some very strong metal, and reinforced it at the reciever end.

Where'd you get your cheek rest, I'm looking at buying one of those myself. Also, do you use the Mag 552 midcaps? I find the TM lowcaps don't have quite enough ammo for when I need to use auto.
