Bolt action

I'm interested in a bolt action rifle, because i llllloooooooovvvvvvvveeeee bolt action, i was turned off of the super 9 because of its length (47 inches) and the m324 is still 42 inches, does anybody know of a BA rifle about the length of an m16. I know it would look rediculous but I love bolt action.

Am confused about what you are looking for exactly. My CA M24 is 48" long, my KJW M700 is around 46" long. So I doubt you will find one that is under 40" (I doubt the M16A2 is less than that).

What about the VSR G-Spec?

I'm not sure about its length, but I know it's shorter than normal.

@ 44" the super 9 is 112 cm long, which is 16 cm longer than the M16 (986mm).

So not really all that much longer.

Let me be the first to go WTF!? O_o

Now read what Illusion wrote. The VSR G-spec is pretty short (38 inches w/o the silencer).

Don't forget if you live in Canada:

You need to be 18 years old to buy a airsoft gun.
You cannot order from outside Canada. (Custom will take it and destroy. Then you get in trouble with them).
Airsoft is more expensive in Canada because dealers get rape with charges for importing them legally.

The VSR Gspec requires a few hundred dollars in upgrades to make a reliable gun. Case in point, replacing the trigger sears is mandatory, but if yo uwant to get to 450fps, you'll find even upgraded aftermarket sears will break in short order. Only reliable way to go from what I've read is to buy a $150US Zero Trigger and matching piston. The Maruzen APS2-SV would serve you better than the VSR, followed by the CA M24 if you are mechanically handy.

I'm not skillful(at all) in upgrading and i'm not on board with the money it would take. I'm in the U.S. so an m324 is only 90-100$ here, so i'll probably go for that.

If UTG could make the m324 what's to stop them from making a mosin nagant or lee enfield BA rifle of the same quality, similar internals, same price. All they have to do is make a new composite/plastic body for the gun and give it a faux wood finish.

Hmm, the VSR 10 g-spec on Redwolf lists as 1135mm long, and needs a fair bit of work to upgrade.

The Tanaka KAR98 lists as 1100mm (a full cm shorter) and on propane is about 450 fps out of the box.

Still trying to figure out why he's looking for a short bolt action aside from some kind of personal eye appeal. Could always just buy a botl action of choice and cut down the outer/inner barrel a bit and make it a scout type rifle.
