Sorbo Installation

I just got a Sorbo (along with a bunch of other parts from Stealth) and was wondering about the second ring. The little bag contained the thick sorbo pad as well as a thin ring, almost like a rubber washer. Am I supposed to do something with this ring, or is it just included as an extra spacer to glue in behind if necessary for AoE correction?

the extra piece is neoprene. It's tougher than the sorbo.

You super glue this to the side of the sorbo that faces the piston head so it protects the sorbo. Some piston heads have sharp ports that will eventually cut into the softer sorbo and make ground meat out of it.

Remember when you adjust your AoE to put your sorbo into your cylinder without gluing it down... put your spring and spring guide in as if you were assembling the gun... check the engagement of the first sector tooth to the pickup on the piston. When you're satisfied, you glue the sorbo to the cylinder head.

I just did a v2 with a lonex cylinder head. I had to remove the stock rubber pad on the cylinder head to make the two teeth meet flush.

On my p90 I glued the sorbo right onto the cylinder rubber pad to get the proper angle.

"Simply glue this pre-cut neoprene pad on the other side of your sorbo pad and extend it's life to INFINITY! (Sorry REAPS... we had to....)"
