TM SIG 552 and ICS 551

Hi people ill get right to the point, I have a TM SIG 552 and an ICS 551, I really wanted the TM 550 or 551 but they dont make them anymore so I was wondering if it's all a good idea/or possible to take the TM552 internals and put them in the ICS551. Thanks for reading.

If you want a SIG 550 ....... G&G SIG550. G&G make the best SIG airsoft rifles available.

As to the TM guts into an ICS body... not sure. I know ICS has a proprietary gearbox, so I am going to assume it would not likely be an easy transplant.

save your $$$ and get a G&G SIG 550

*bonus - TM SIG mags will work great without any mods in the G&G.

Ah okay thanks for the info, I've only been playing for a little over a year and haven't experimented with internals all that much, what's the best place to get a G&G 550?

sorry, I can't advise you on where to get one, as you are not yet age verified. But they are available. If you do a thorough search you will find them. I recommend getting age verified. It will make finding airsoft guns, and purchasing airsoft guns much easier, as the community can help you more when you get age verified.

He's right, get the G&G. It's beautiful.

As per the rules we won't tell you where to get one, but I do know the first place a Google search will point you towards. For the love of god, don't get it from BuyAirsoft.
Get AV'd and you'll find that there are at least 5 (that I can think of, but probably more) reputable retailers currently offering them for at or around the suggested $400 mark.

He said in the OP that he can't get a TM. He's not going to need that if the other options are already metal...

Also, if you press the edit button you don't have to double post.

Another vote for "get a G&G Sig". Doesn't matter if it's a 550, 552, or 553.

... I wouldnt switch them only because the fps on TM's are around 280fps.. Ive played around with the internals on the ics sig 551 and internally its solid, there is nothing worth upgrading inside the gearbox.

Yeah I've decided to leave the two guns just the way they are for now, my TM 552 is shooting at about 345 and my ICS is at about 300

Immelmann- thanks I will edit it like you say next time. As for posting about the metal body, I know that's not what the op was looking for, but being as he was talking about a TM 552(plastic body) that he owned, I just thought I would mention it. It may not interest him but may interest other ASC users who may read this thread. That's why I put it out there. Thanks.
