KSC G19 Rail and Tac Light Questions
Hey all,
I just got my KSG G19 and after playing an indoor night game, I'm looking at getting a tac light. My first question is, given the small barrel length, do most of you use a small-profile tac light, or do you just let it stick out from the end of the barrel (personally, I don't care as long as it works). Also, do use you a pressure switch or just the button on the light itself. If you use a pressure switch, where do you have the switch attached to your gun? Secondly, does the G19 rail accept any standard rail upgrade? For example, Pelican makes the M6 tactical light, and you can get a rail adapter for it, but it says it's only for Armalites. Would the G19 be able to accept this adapter, assuming the flashlight is long enough to fit in front of the trigger guard? |

I happen to have an Insight Technologies M6 TLI mounted on my G19 and it fits like a charm. However the Pelican M6 is quite large, especially for a sub compact pistol. I recommend getting something like a Streamlight M3, or M6 if you have the money.

Cool, thanks for the picture, too.
Do you use a pressure switch or a toggle switch on the light itself? |

the light has a toggle for momentary on, and constant on, you flick the swtich using your trigger finger. The unit that I have featured above retails for around $450.00 however you can grab an M3 or M3 replica for just over $100.00, and if you want to go real cheap you might want to ask around the local airsoft community, maybe they even have something at XT that you could buy.

Cool, thanks. I think I'll start saving for the M6, because I like the integrated laser.
