Glock 17: Guarder US Frame vs EU Frame

Hello,

I am in the market for a Guarder Glock 17 frame to replace the tinted lower frame of my Tokyo Marui Glock 17, and I was wondering if there is a difference between the Guarder U.S. frame and the Guarder EU frame? If there is a difference, is it purely cosmetic, or do they have different specs?

Thank you,
EJ

If I understand your question correctly, US Frames do not carry the Glock logo or trades, as they are barred entry to the US.

Purely cosmetic. The Guarder US frames have US trademarks while the EU versions have the EU trademarks. Real steel Glocks were made in both US and Europe and depending on their origin of manufacturing they come stamped with different trades. Both frames will fit your TM glock 100%.

I should clarify. The Guarder US and EU frame are no different from each other in terms of dimension or fitment. The US frame was NOT made to be sold solely in the US and likewise with the EU frame. It's simply two identical frames that have the trademarks the real steel woukd come with if it were to be manufactured in USA or Europe. Some people have a preference for one trademark over the other, hence Guarder making both available to consumers

For a realistic looking build, keep in mind that US Glocks have slides with small logos while european ones have a small eagle proof mark. Here you can see the slide and frame correct combination:

There are other small details, but these are the basics.
