WE G39 body pin removal
Hi all,
My We G39 has a problem. It won't dissasemble. The body pin by the reciver won't come out. it slides half way out and then is stuck, anyone have this problem? |

Removing mine the first time was hard too. That's a good thing, you want it tight. Just tap it out with a hammer and a screwdriver. It will eventually get easier the more times you do it.

WE has SHIT quality control. I am guessing its the rear pin by the stock. What I did was stick one of those multibit screwdrivers in it (the ones with all the interchangeable bits) and gave it a nice firm tap with my palm. Came out right away. It will eventually loosen up but the first time is a PITA.

How exactly does a tight pin equate to shit quality control? Would you rather it be loose?

you do want it to be tight.. the constant vibration will rattle it out if its too loose... you think that the pin in there is tight try putting the small front pin holding the trig mech back in on a new remmington 870 shotgun (RS)... finnicky as shit and very tight.
Even with the airsoftguns.. WE specifically.. you dont have to baby them... they are tougher than you think... if it doesnt come out (body pin i mean) give it a good smack .. wont hurt it.

Thanks all
The right amount of force was key. I bought my gun in September and was surprised to find a nice metal bolt not plastic like 'I had expected.
Thanks all |

Very good point, but if you have or had the WE G36 you will know its supidly tight and that the recoil rod hole is every so canted to one side. Besides the body pins have a spring retainer so it can be a little lose without any worries.

hmm, maybe you just got a bad one. I took another look at mine and it seems perfectly straight to the naked eye.. In any case I'm not sure how much I trust the spring on the end of the pin.. I feel like if the pin was slightly loose it might really bug me. To be honest I don't really like the concept of holding a gun together with pins, and if I could change one thing about the g39 that might be it. =\
