M4A1 motor?

Hey yeah, i know this was just recently asked by someone but I couldnt find it. Today I installed a new handgrip on my M4A1, when I finally got everything on and together and put a battery in all i hear is a weird click but nothing. Whats going on? can anyone help me. Thanks

Make sure you don't have the polarity of the wires reversed on the motor leads. Red to red, black to blank.

Yeah that forsure isnt the case, I checked it twice. Also the gun is not upgraded and pretty much new. Is it possible the motor is not positioned right?

When you place the motor back into the grip, make sure you place it DONT JAM it into the grip. Then once you've done that take your motor plate and grip plate and set it in place with that. Dont push the motor in let the plate and screws set the motor.

hmm ill try and re-do it again, i kinda pushed it in because I found it hard to get it in with my new grip.

I have the same problem just putting the motor in to the grip, I have a eg1000 motor...
Just would not fit the whole way. I never found the cure, its weird, but I suspect the wires are in the way.

Ahh, ive dissesmbled it a few times now and each time it does the same thing. Anyone have any other ideas?

try this.. just put the motor plate in place but dont screw it yet just press it firmly and try to pull the trigger. if it runs just slowly put the screws in place and slowly tight them em' up. But if what i just said doesnt work. what brand of grip are you using. sometimes motor plate does't align properly. I had encountered this type of problem before but just a little dremmeling solved the case.

Nope. But it does need a pistol grip to fit in to.

Not to state the obvious but has the adjustment screw been loosen or tightened down?

If you have the bottom motor height adjustment screw tightened all the way down the motor will have too much friction to move and must be loosened back.

Make sure you do it at the start of the game, every round you fire could be totally chewing up the gears if the motor's not aligned properly.

Ok yeah I fixed it, I had to just adjust a few screws and everything. I put the motor in while shooting so that when the gun actually shot a round off I knew where to keep it, I then put the plate on and slowly tightened and adjusted the screws until it shot properly.

Also Harley, how can I tell if its chopping gears or not? even if its shooting rounds off?
