This is dangerous advance american military technology... as such... they won't ship!
ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) You can probably find a NC star tactical III already landed in Canada if you can't find the leapers...

Here, take your pic as to which one you want, and buy it. Better to order from within Canada anyways. Here's the list of Leaper's scopes, you can provide your own Kleenex and hand lotion.

If something is ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) restricted it is against the law for the item to be exported from the USA.

Your only "option" is sending it to US address and resent it with no mention of what's inside the package (change package or something like that).
It's "bad" but I'm starting to wonder when they'll put condoms and dildos under ITAR... |

Anyways, I see zero reason why that scope the OP posted would be ITAR, but I provided a Canadian link to Leaper scopes sold and some are similar to what he wants. Maybe the flip up scope covers are what turns him on, in which case he can just buy a set from the nearest gun store. Last edited by CDN_Stalker; February 24th, 2011 at 21:10.. |

For optics, some are covered by ITAR, & those are tough to export. Ones that aren't ITAR material are covered off by the Commerce Dept. and still need an export license.
So by the rules any rifle scope leaving the USA needs to have it's I's dotted and T's crossed. Even a plinker scope. All the little eBay sellers and the rest run the risk of Big Brother noticing them. That's why folks like Optics Planet just say no. We're not even going to get into distribution agreements other than to say someone selling a brand in the US, like Leupold perhaps gets in deep do do with their supplier if they ship outside their national borders.

Regardless, I posted a link to available in Canada scopes, so don't know why it's still carrying on about ITAR, getting that scope itself into Canada or not, unless eyeballs got glazed for the $20 cheaper pricetag. The OP should check out the link I provided and see if anything there acts as an erection amplifier and get back to us that the thread is worth closing.

Marstar's stock levels are a bit low right now.
Re buying in the US; Optics Planet is quite strict, and they won't even drop ship to a US address for an international customer. Other folks can be more accommodating on drop shipping or even have the paper work to ship across an international boundary line. As always your mileage may vary; I did talk to Optics Planet on the phone last week and anything I was after wasn't coming out of the vault.
