In the video he says that you can select dry fire or bolt catch option.

I've never jumped on the "I'm gettin it" bandwagon but it looks pretty sweet.

I'm gettin it!

What I'm hoping for most is that they incorporate their NS2 system somehow into this. Every KWA product from that line that I've owned has been a reliable shooter, even in cold weather. Can't say much for the "trademarks" though.

Hmm..... too many choices now......

What should I do? Classic Daytonagun that I can use AEG mags with but doesn't have a "safe" feature, RS Type56 AEG, or the KWA AK GBBR?

I kind of want it but then again I like the idea of rocking the classic airsoft and even then the RS Type56 is sexy as hell and awesome.

lock back? I didn't think the AK locked back when empty it just stopped firing requiring you to rake the bolt with a new mag.

Which works for a real firearm.. because it won't fire on an empty mag.

but a GBBR Will .. so it is possible for you to be dry firing without knowing it.

Frankly.. it baffles me why there is no BHOD on modern versions of the AK

The Russians must have their own "muscle memory" cheerleaders who feel that extra button will cause confusion and delay.

I bet you get good at counting your shots.

never could figure it out.. the MP44 ( which the AK is based off ) had one

the CZ858 ( which I know is a different op system) but a very similar receiver group has one that is dead simple.

it seems like a no brainer

I think it's'great that they let the choice up to the user wether they can use the fully realistic dry firing and a "bolt stop in foward position".

Bolt stop forward makes sense from a replica standpoint..

I doubt I will be able to stop from getting one of these....

What do you mean it doesn't have safe feature?

I have a DG and I can tell you right now, the gun can go on safe, auto and semi. (you can also lock it to safe, semi, semi by removing the auto actuating bar)
The only DG that didn't have safe mod was either poorly assemble one or the ones that was in prototype.

Well according to AirsoftExtreme:

Quote:
*WARNING - The safety on these AKs are non-functional. Even if the safety is properly engaged, it will still fire full auto. This was not intentional but an oversight on Daytona Guns design.
Source: http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/...oducts_id=4485

Anyways, if that's the case I guess I'll just have to save up some money (so far I have like $100 for a Classic airsoft....) and buy the Daytonagun, pickup a few HPA tanks, and maybe a diving refill station thing.

There's just something about classic airsoft that's so awesome. Obviously I'm not going to screw in the tank to the gun, I'll have a remote line and one of those small HPA tanks hidden away in a pocket somewhere so it will be the sexiest Blow back on the field when I get my hands on it......

That would be awkward since it doesnt exist in real life. There's no such thing as a wood stocked AK-74M... you are thinking of the AK-74.
