Was that a "setup patrol" or was that really in game though?
I'd really like to know the usefulness in a real world game. |

Those videos seem fairly staged as you can see them attempt to set it off at the end. The mines are really cool and can be useful you just need to set them up right

Anybody know of a place in Canada where these can be bought? I really don't want to try and import a fake landmine.

Actually they wasn't staged as I was filming the game being played but the Patrol knew there were landmines and roughly where they were so they were trying to look for them as they were walking ( and the fact they were aware I was filming that exact spot)
At the end of the day I needed a money shot for the review so that's why they were told of the general where-abouts If you were using these mines I feel you would need 3-4 of them set in the trail to have any real chance of detonation but they are real cool all the same |

They got the Thunder B grenade as well as the Claymore, M12 and M80 mines. They are based in Quebec city. The owner is here on ASC (look for username KGBB).

I can see those set-up, just right after a funnel or kill zone just right behind covers (like wooden structures or metal drums) were people will rush too in order to get cover and protect from incoming fire and that would be their undoing since they will step on a mine... you could get quite a few kills in a set-up like that I am pretty sure! P.S: By the way I know that they are selling some at the Action 500 proshop in Montreal.
