I bet that if after racking it with the slide on, all you'd have to do would be to manually cock the hammer down just a fraction and it would fire.

More than likely if you fully assembled your pistol and loaded it it would fire after initial racking and have some uniqe firing issue after that
I used the SD and stock grip and the same problem happens. The reason why there is a bit of space is because I didnt put the grip screw on the other side because i disassembly it alot. If I use the slide to cock the hammer, the hammer is placed down, so i cant "manually" cock it again.. but then it gets stuck because the disconnector is lowered and wont engage the sear.. Maybe Illusion the hi-capa god has some insight?

Ive attached some pics below. Notice on the last pic, the stirrup is preventing the disconnector tab from going beneath the sear, and thus, when i pulled the trigger nothing happens. Ive tried sanding the rear part of the stirrup, bending the stirrup so it doesnt stick out from the back, and pushing the right leaf forward, and still i have no luck...

it only works when the trigger is not attached to the stirrup since the stirrup is free to move and has a greater degree of flexibility.. neways here are some pics i took:

Much thanks to Jamuke for helping me solve my issue! Having more than one of the same part can really help solve your problems!

trigger stirrup

fortunately I had a spare one that didn't work in any of my pistols but ended up working fine.

however he had an IK trigger that had a noticable forward tilt when installed on the stirrup spur, cusing it to sit too low to install through the trigger hole in the grip
