ESS Goggles

Just a quick question...from searching thru the threads it seems ESS goggles are highly recommended. I didn't see any mention of it, but would they be ok to wear at a paintball field? I have a pair of V-force and JT Spectras but both fog like crazy. I was looking to try a pair of ESS with the fan built on them but since I will be playing a lot at paintball fields I wanted to make sure that they comply with their safety regulations.

Thanks

some will allows them some no... our field in montreal allows them. other fields may require full face protection

i dont have a pic but if you're on the DIY side you can jam 2 micro fans on top of regular ess goggles like me. a lot cheaper than the turbofans and VERY effective

If a field doesnt allow them but demands a full face mask you can get 1/2 face masks that mate to the the ess profile and land ops models.

So ESS + Neoprene(sp) mask / Shemagh would fit the criteria?

I guess I can try calling CQB and see if they allow it.
I've been there before but wearing my Pball goggles, its so bad indoors fogs up before I even step on the field even with that magic spray stuff they provide.

Most paintball fields, if paintball is being played on the same field nearby, require mandatory painball masks ONLY: Because of the possibility that a paintball could hit you. It's for their insurance.

The best bet is to own both your airsoft goggles and paintball goggles, and bring both. This way you are not left out or forced to rent a pair of SHIT goggles from the field.

NO if it's not a "paintball goggle" it does not meet their criteria and can't be worn.

Do yourself a favour and buy a good quality paintball goggle.. they come in Thermal and vented versions as well .. and buy the ESS .. and buy a pair of ballistic rated shooting glasses .. then you are set.

They'd definitely take the impact though
