Shock Transfer System

Came upon this while reading the forums: STS

From what I understand it's useful for gun's that would be fielded in cold weather, since the colder it gets the easier it is for the gearbox front to snap off due to brittleness.

Would this little bit have any effect on the gearbox's regular wear and tear if you mostly use the gun in the summer?

Yea that's where I saw it from, but other then someone saying "Oh cool!" not much else was mentioned.

Mainly wondering if anyone has used this little bit before, and is it work having one along side a V2 mechbox if you don't play in the cold (yet?).
