Question Need Review: G&P SPR

hey wussap guys, I've done alot of different searches on this site and I seem to be having trouble finding reviews on the SPR. I know that arnies probably have it, but i want to know first hand under Canada weather and conditions how this piece performs. I'm very interested in picking up the SPR within these next 2 weeks. Thanks for help in advance.

update: just did a search on arnies and they don't have a review on it neither

The gun shouldn't perform much differently than any other G&P armalite variant. The ineternals are all the same, and you can probably expect the same quality external parts as the rest of their line as well. So read reviews of whatever G&P Armalites you can find. The SPR is just not very common, so you won't see many reviews of it at all...

I've worked on the SPR, and it is the easiest by far to get into and get out of. Upgraded EVERYTHING, right down to the solid metal bearing spring guide. Should last you a LONG while without problems, unless you do something silly like use it as a support weapon.

Performs VERY well, tends to outrange other 400fps AEGs easily. Rugged, heavy, with a 9.6V 3300mAh battery it has an awesome rate of fire, funny it only has an EG 700 in it!!!

I say go for it, put a kick ass scope on it.

The thing is extremely well built, fully upgraded, all metal. It weighs a ton before you start to add on any items, such as a bipod, light and scope. You could probably put an axe head on it and cut down trees. Mine was messed up out of the box (recently fixed now though) and broken it was shooting 415+, I had to downgrade the spring to make it field usuable for our local games. Definately a great gun for an expercienced player who can handle a fully upgraded gun responsibly, who does not want to spend the time and $$ beefing up a TM one. Plus for the problems I was having with mine, G&P has been great in suppling suggestions, as well as shipping me replacement parts directly (Metal Hop Up, Inner Barrel, Gear Set, Motor) so the manufactuer support is great for a sport where most guns do not have a warranty.

As few pics of my gun (pre paint job):

Holy crap, that thing is beautiful. That's the only armalite I'd ever buy.

Thanks for the replies guys. This helps me a great deal. Hopefully this will help others that are interesting in the G&P SPR too.

I put a PDI 150 in it, have to rechrony it to tell you the FPS, but I'd say in between 390 and 400 if memory serves me correct.

The spring I took out sure looked and felt like atleast a 190
