Thanks for capturing the attention of the Drooling Noobs. The crap count in threads has decreased in the last 48 hours.
TRU started ASC. The original players got tired of phoning each other. The original boards had other names ( dunno not that old here ) but the purpose was to post games and who when and where info. Then it grew onto how to fix this or that and who's selling their old AEG. There are a series of Milestones to mark the history of ASC.

There are still some of the original players here, Phalanix is pretty old ( hahahaha) and if you see (Meat / Meta) Bravo One Six, Sha Do, Scarecrow, There are two kinds of Groups on ASC. Airsofters and Chairsofters. People who play and people who talk about playing. Regardless there are a lot of real characters here and epic events, Scandals and Subcultures. ASC has a huge following of Photographers. A major amount of MilSim enthusiasts. this thread will not give you a glimpse of the crap that goes on. Read the News Section. The General Section. skip the Off topic as thats just pop culture. but to get a real feel of ASC look in the trash bin. Just till you ge the Gist of why a thread is there. The rest is Flamorz therapy.
Practice the search button function, use Wanker as the search item. draw your own conclusions.

Just to let you all know, I am in fact a man... I just enjoy painting my fingernails, preferbaly red... Also on occasion I have been known to dance around in a dress, but who hasnt?

Err aside from all this Ronan stuff. Welcome to Airsoft and ASC lol. I got my wife involved in Airsoft and she loves it. She has a JG MP5 upgraded, pretty good balance, good weight, good fps and if you want extra range/accuracy put a silencer on it and get an longer inner barrel. The MP5 is a very capable weapon. And there is more than likely a few gun doctors close to your area so your set. Thing works great, I even thought of giving her my TM G36c so I can use it. But my favorite is the M4a1 though.

Just to add the list of "old timer facts" that Armyissue (Jeroon) posted;

It is rumored that Lt.Poncho was the first Canadian airsofter, and having been the first import airsoft from either the US or Asia, though an advertisement in the back of an old BB Gun magazine (close to 20 years ago). He is responsible for establishing the accepted rules on safety, fps limits, and so forth, and is labeled the "God Father" of Canadian airsoft.
He has run some of the largest airsoft milsim events in Canada, and has amassed a huge following of very loyal and devoted worshipers.

BTW; Welcome to airsoft. I hope you will come to enjoy the sport as much as the rest of us, and please, be careful of the droolers. As for me, not to worry, I'm married.....and yes, my better half has been involved in airsoft for almost 11 years.
