midcap MAGS!!!!

Hi I need to buy about 5 midcap mags for my CA M15A4 Carbine. I live in Malta so My best bet would probably be to order from ehobby asia. What brand do you suggest work best with the CA M15A4 Carbine?

Thanks in advance,
Sindagon

Both MAG and STAR are fine. MAG offers 8 packs for M4/16, STAR offer 10 packs.

Kingarms are also a choice, they have metal and plastic, 68 and 110 (i think).

I use King Arms metal midcaps in my CA M15A4 rifle and have had no issues whatsoever.

Most of the boxsets are plastic unless stated otherwise. No real reason to choose MAG over STAR or STAR over MAG. However, I've seen reports of KA issues on and off for their plastic mags.

I've had most experience with STAR mags, and only seen one in about 30 that I've ever used which had a feeding issue after heavy use.

On a side note, what's it like living in Malta ? Thinking of moving next year, and trying to pick a country =)

Talking

Thanks for the replies guys. I will probably go for the king's arms then since i wanted metal ones.

About Malta, well its a nice place to live in. Personally I don't have any major complaints about this place. The people are friendly, the sea is nice, hot summers, coldish winters. Traditional Maltese food is amazing. The countryside is beautiful but unfortunately there isn't much of it compared to larger countries. You just have to know where to look for it and where to go. If you want I can send you some pics because since I was a venture scout I spent most of my free time between my 8th and 18th birthday in the countryside. Just email me if you want some pics.

This is the link of my airsoft club Malta Tactical Airsoft Club (MTAC).

I think there are like another 2 clubs.

If you'll need someone to show you around whilst you're here just get in contact with me. I'll be more than happy to help!!

I owned MAG brand M4 mags and never had one single feed problem, they were great.

I have 3 King Arms M4 mags and none of them will feed unless I hold them in the magwell. Kind of annoying. I don't have this problem with my Star or CA mags.

You have to file down the BB retainer. There's too much material and the hopup can't push it out of the way far enough. I had to do that with all 5 of my metal 68rd mags because they didn't feed properly. Mine work perfectly now.

Never had a feeding issue with any of my King Arms mags in my gun.
TM mechbox in a shitty Dboys body with a kingarms magcatch and systema hopup.

No feeding issues with TM, CA, JG, or Mag Brand plastics either.

I like my STAR mags and the MAG midcaps I have used have been great. My G&P mags blow as do the CYMA midcaps (big surprise). I also have KA and they required a break-in period but started to work much better after 500 through each.
