IWIN (ebaybanned) RRV vs Pantac?

http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.p...oducts_id=1883

Ok, I know that the quality of Pantac will be much better, but by the time I get it set up similarly, it would be about 300+.

So here's the question (hoping someone's handled both of them), is the Pantac worth the 200 extra, or is the IWIN "good enough" for the casual gamer. Some long term reports would be nice.

I would probably add in some pantac pouches though to the IWIN.

Oh, and do you know if the chest rig and hydration pack can be worn separately? Looks like you just need the strap that goes across your lower back.

I got the IWIN RRV and it isnt of the highest quailty. Its nice but there are some serious red stitchings on some of the end straps(not that bad its just it detracts from the whole "Look cool factor") and i wasnt impressed with the buckles it came with, they felt really cheap as if they'd break fairly easy. I found the HAWG just never sat right on my back felt too loose. (Im about 6'2 170 pounds, slim built) I ended up just taking it off and using the RRV alone. To do that you need to either buy a new lower back strap or (what i did) was just cut it out of the HAWG and use it

As for pantac, i bought a phantom Wasatch, and from what i hear pantac was spawned from phantom just it is slightly better.
The quality is alot higher just in the looks and the feel. The buckles were awsome and the fact that the wasatch has internal mag pouches you dont have to go out and buy extra stuff (if you looking for extra pouches, you can find them fairly cheap) I ended up stripping the IWIN RRV and using the extras that came with it on my wasatch.

The IWIN RRV works fine. It does it job and i think for the casual game who isnt prone to breaking things (like my self) it would do just fine. But I would personally go for the better quality stuff.

Hope that helps, im sure other people will chime in about their experiences.

Cheers
Sam

IWIN stuff are definetly acceptable, but you won't regret if you buy the Pantac stuff. it worth every penny of it.
