Then you'll LOVE this, a sticky I made a while back on the team sniper section:

Upgrading to 450fps, I'd recommend these parts (you will need an upgraded cylinder for it, not sure if stock will work with these parts):

Guarder:

Ultra-light Piston for APS2

Piston head for APS2

7mm bearing spring guide for APS2

Clear Hop Up & Bucking rubber

First Factory/Laylax:

PSS2 130SP Spring

Prometheus:

6.03mm 534mm tightbore barrel (needs to trim off about 19mm to make it fit right)

All the above is what I have in my M24 (I have a different spring though, as well as the 9mm spring guide). That spring should give you about 425fps with 0.20g BBs, the tightbore will add another 10fps, and the bearing spring guide another 15fps, bringing you around 450fps.

Right on the money, this is exactly what I was looking for, even the 450fps is the specs I was looking for.

Thankyou, greatly appreciated.

No problem. I have a 150SP spring in mine, I just answered the question for the guy who wanted 450fps. Only difference is the spring and need a 9mm spring guide instead of the 7mm. And I'm also using a KM RH65 hop up rubber these days.

i you dont want to trim the barrel down, yo can get the tightbore barrel 509mm long. Its the same ones used by the M16 VN AEG...

Is the same as any M16 length barrel, all are pretty much 509mm (I believe the AUG and one or two others have the same length as well). The CA M24 comes with plastic spacers that hold the inner barrel pretty solid in the outer barrel without being difficult to take out, and if you have your inner barrel sit a BB's width inside your outer barrel muzzle it's not a big deal as long as you have one spacer close to the front.
