You can buy everything but gun for 1/2 the price fron any US or HK vendor...
Why would you bother purshasing a 80$ battery from him when you can pay 20$ from ehobbyasia or any other store?

And lets not forget that Mark Anderson has not posted anything here. Folks that are said to be tied to him are the ones putting up the in jokes, and so on.

I can acknowledge the fact that if he does not wish to post here for his own reasons that is his choice. I can also say if I was in his shoes I wouldn't want my posse talking smack in my place.

Because then said people won't get the satisfaction of complaining about it afterwards.

Holy crap people. Yes Mark is going to be finished importation of restricted items as of March 1st 2008.

Those who don't believe it, all I can do is offer the following screenshot from the MAA Members only forum.

well ya, cause the service is so good they have nothing to complain about in the first place...

you know, im all for family and stuff, its great. but i would think he has a moral obligation to the community and what not. that being said, if its too stressful, hire some extra hands, or make your order system more efficient. if its stressful to the point where he can't handle the influx of orders, then logic and business skills would dictate that he should hire more people to help him deal with the email answering and the ordering and such. thats what i would do if i had a successful business as he does.

It's his business, it's his decision. He doesn't have a moral obligation to anyone.

It's stressful because the RCMP and CBSA are constantly on his case, and getting raided is always a possibility looming over an airsoft importer/retailer's head.

Great... so, anyone with an opinion who is from Manitoba is automatically one of Mark's "posse"... did I miss a meeting?

I know for a fact that Mark was / is a member of JSOC, so i'll take their word over anyone else's here.

I heard that airsoft sales are actually just a small part of Mark's business. His main business is army surplus, so it's probably just too much hassle to deal with airsoft sales, not to mention the accusations and remarks that get thrown around here.

I'll stand up for the guy though, for the most part he seems to have done a great job and my personal dealings with him support this. Sure, my word as a relatively unknown user may not carry a lot of weight around here, but I think we were lucky to have Mark try his hand at airsoft retail for as long as he did. From the posts on this forum and the people I've spoken to, it seems there were many more satisfied customers than unsatisfied customers. Kudos to you, Mark, I hope we can still count on your for parts and accessories

It is indeed sad loosing a major retailer. However, I personally never had any good experiences with A&A. Hell, I might just be the 2% minority but it's left a bad taste in my mouth as it is. All we need now is someone that is willing to stockpile a shitload of receivers/frames... Everything else is legal to import.
