TT MAV Fit

I'm looking to pick up the TT MAV.
I've heard that I can fit big on smaller people.
I'm 5'7", 30" waist, 36" chest.
Anyone similar size use the MAV?
And dies the 2-piece have the same real estate (and is thus longer)?

I'm also planning to getthe x-harness with it.

You lose about 2 columns of PALS on the front due to the buckle closure which you can regain by purchasing the TT centre piece adapter (can't recall the exact name). I'm 5'8" and I have no issues with fit.

Hi, both the MAV and the MAV 2 have 18 columns of molle. The Mav 2 has about a 4" gap in front where the fastex buckles are, and the molle as a result goes farther around you. I own both version and if you have not yet purchased one I highly recommend the Mav2. I find it more comfortable and less of a pain in the ass to put on and remove because you don't have to fidget with buckles behind you back. Both Mavs are very adjustable so you shouldn't have to worry anout you chest size. The X-Harness is also a great piece of kit making it again more comfortable and allowing your load to rest more evenly upon you.

I might try CP Gear's new M-2010 MFR-8 rig. Looks like it's size better for me.
People been happy with their gear?
