Well i didn't expect this one...

So i carpooled with some friends and left my car in a parking lot all morning and afternoon. Doors were locked and i come back to find bits of foam fluff covering everything. First thought.. SHIT, someone broke in and robbed all my stuff and even gutted my seats as a F.U.

My guess involves high pressure gasses and the hot sun.

Looks like something blew up! Plastic piece on the dash, and metal piece looks like it could be part of a fill assembly!

Maybe like a gas pistol?

Green gas can exploded. I recognize the stem and cap from a very similar experience.

The green gas cans have a full slug of white open cell foam to suspend the silicone oil in the gas. Looks like the shreads of it

Yeah, a can of green gas was a proven suspect. Green Gas DOES work better on a hot summers day.
