Does that slide have the grooves for a SD barrel bushing?

it has groove for the TM 1911 bushing.....(which I am not using on my 1911 because of the comp, thats what I was using before). Which Nova makes as well...
I have to say its a very nice slide...just the polished finish is very prone to scratches.... |

I can't wait until mine arrives...
How is it for weight? Light?

its pretty light. With what I had before with the Nova barrel the gun is much lighter than my monster 1911. With the stainless Bull barrel it brings it back up a bit. The guiderod bushing included in the frame and slide set is aluminum as well. I swapped them out with my SD unit because I like the weight. But if I were to turn this into a full race build I might go back to using the lighter items....
trying on the PDI comp for size... |

stop making such great guns, I have no money to build one that looks half as good as the guns you build! btw, great job on this. I'd have been to afraid to mill the slide but I think it worked out perfect.

polished the chamfer edge....which is I think what the real steel has...
It also help me to hide some blemishes I got from the milling and deburring operation... |
