DAMN! Just sold both M16's because I was torn between M16/CQBR and G36/G36c, chose the latter option but I actually wanted to go G36/CQBR but didnt want to have two sets of mags kicking around. Oh well, gonna make me an uber G36 pair now and I get fake rounds in my mags (and only a capcity of 50 rounds instead of 68...)

There is a real world adaptor to allow you to use STANAG mags in the G36 (at least I've HEARD there is, can't personally confirm it). This is the airsoft equivalent. I have no idea if it looks or works the same, but the end result is the same.

Here's link to a real steel magwell conversion. Same idea, different design.

I saw that link a few days ago, you could finally wear an M4 vest! If they are resonable to bring in I would pic one up and a 10 pack of MAG mags.

Most likely me since you gave me your G36 after QuickPass to clean out and upgrade, I told you I found about a teaspoon of sand in your mechbox, mostly in your cylinder!! Anyone wonderin, Bawbag was a medic that day (did a fantastic job BTW, Poncho even wanted to give hima medal for hs efforts), had his G36 and no sling. So he'd have to put his G36 down in order to tie the bandages on our arms, and the game was at Rawdon's sandpit........
That is a pretty cool mod for a G36 though, and well thought out, mainly from what I know, G36 are fatter/wider and take up more space as mentioned. Add in a G36 locap is only 50rnds where a locap for an Armalite is 68rds (for those that care to use those), it opens up the amount of mags a player can carry, and he/she won't have to invest in extra gear to hold extra 'kingsize' mags. |

Theres a bunch of companys making G36 mags now. G&P, KA, TM, Star and MAG just to name the ones I can remember off the top of my head. They range in price from 9, 11, 13 and 22 USD on HK retailer sites. So Id say thats a lot cheaper then M4 mags. Star makes a 30rnd mag and I think I saw a 100rnd box set too. MAG makes a 100rnd magazine too. G&P makes a 130rnd midcap. So if the 50rnd TM mags dont hold enough bbs for you, you still have other choices.
I could only see this being usefull if you already have a collection of M4 magazines.

Sweet, I'd get one! I have more M4 mags than G36 mags at the moment, so I wouldn't mind at all!

yeah it is a good idea for people that have m4 mags
But to be honest the largest selling point of the g36 for me was the look and without the mags ... well it deminishes the look to me but then again its a personal opinion. As for cost of mags well i like to say if you can't afford it either work more or don't buy an costly gun lol do research when it comes to future costs haha And gear well I currently hold 12 mags on my HSG Woosatch with the help of 2 TT triple mag pouches. and if i want to hold more i can allways go to 204 tactical and buy some g36mag pouches. P.S. Company: MAG: 100rd box of 2 mags= 32.00 Star 140rd x5 = 45.00 aprox TM 50rd = 50.00 hahaha Star 30rd x8 = 50.00 So threre really is no excuse to get this unless you allready have m4 mags |

Be warned - not all the reviews are glowing.
http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forum...ic=78344&st=60 Quickly shooting from the hip, that's about 3-4 positive reviews so far, 1 negative. |

i bought a g36 for the power, reliability and most of all... dummy rounds. having M4 mags cheapens the experience

Yes there is a real world counterpart for it, the down side is that some ar mag don't free fall uppon release. But it works well and makes getting mags for the g36 a whole lot easyer unless you want to run your g36 on sl8 mags.

Daaang. If I ever get enough money to get that G36 I've been pondering, I'm changing it to that gun you posted up Darklen.
