I rotate my EDC among several folders... lately I've been carrying a Spyderco Native:

but I'm also very fond of my Kershaw Groove b/c I love the flipper action:

I carry with me a Gerber power frame. It's comfortable, easy to use, and cheap.

Works for me.

I think the original intent of the OP for this thread wasn't EDC, but what do you carry in-game...

'Cause I sure don't EDC a Kabar.

Although I did for a while, come to think of it.

Oh...

Well Carrying real knives onto the field is up to the impression one is doing I suppose. Just remember, unless your cutting some rope or something keep that shit in it's sheath.

I can remember two very real very stupid instances where tempers flared and real knives came out over airsoft bullshit.

I also happen to have a Cold Steel Trail Hawk tomahawk, which I may try carrying with my WWII gear this coming season.
Just curious on the Cold Steel as I haven't been able to find any documentation on this knife. It was willed to me from my brother so I've had it for nearly 11 years. I know it's an old knife, so my question ....... is the built in plastic clip on the back of yours worn out? Mine is not as tight as it used to be and I find it falls off easy at times, and have dropped it outside my truck allot. I've just recently went to a pouch for it, but the pouch I have is a belt loop with NO snap on it. I hate the idea of having to undo my belt to take the pouch off. My EDC light has a pouch with a snap belt loop so that i can take off the light pouch without removing my belt.

What are your thought on this? Very nice knife BTW. I like mine.

The Gunsight edition I have now is my second one, sent by Cold Steel as a warranty replacement, after my original, plastic-clipped model broke. I was driving a van, and the lap portion of the seatbelt slid between the clip and my jeans, and was caught when I got out and snapped the clip clean off. Never a problem with the metal clip, though.
