Using Propane

Is it too dangerous to refill mags with propane indoors? Or should I go outside? And if I do it outside in winter, will there be any damage to the mag since its so cold?

I wouldnt go so far to say it was dangerous, maybe a bit smelly. Maybe dangerous if there are a lot of open flames in your house hold.
If you are filling your magazine outside, I'm sure a few seconds in the cold during a fill will not cause any harm.

If youre systematically refilling tens of mags, go outside or you'll start to get dizzy.

Otherwise, if you don't mind the stink, have fun indoors.

And Mitchell, I always heard that sparks accelerated the filling process.

Sorta kinda off topic.

But is it possible for a Propane/Green Gas/Duster gun to take C02 or any other propellent other than Proprane/Green Gas/Duster Air? (Ofcourse, you'd have to buy a new mag with some sort of c02 attachment/canister compartment.)

Right I forgot, fill them next to candles. They'll keep the smell away too.

Depends on the gun. Definitely don't run CO2 in a plastic slided gun.
Some metal slided guns can take it, but it's still hard on them.

CO2 would really only be recommended with a high quality gun, or one that says it can run it. If its plastic, or a cheap metal slide, or cheap internals, say goodbye. I've heard horror stories of slides snapping in half.

Hmm, I'm just looking for some better option to power my TM Deagle. I have it and have never even used it (except for when I bought it), as I cant find green gas.

(and I dont have a proprane adapter. I'm gonna pick one up soon, but the green camping propane tanks do weigh a little too much. Ugh. Gotta deal with it or sell it when I get AV'ed I guess.)

Thanks for the awnsers.

That's because they're safe.

Green gas containers are time bombs, they're not even technically legal to contain highly pressurized gasses.

Played with a friend this summer. He has our teams in his very nice harley edition truck.... It wasnt so nice with a dozen cans of GG blown up in his back seat.

Besides the foam that gets every where its metal that ends up turning into shrapnel when it goes off.

Also dont try to ship them please. Had a guy we used to play with go up to the lady at the post office and ask. All she did was burst out laughing and walked away lol.

Green Gas can's aren't properly rated so you failed right then and there. Have you ever heard of someones bbq exploding on a hot day? And propane doesn't have the lubricant in it you have to add your own silicone so all problems are solved.
