Checklist for ensuring the right parts for V3 builds?

Hi guys,

I've got a V3 build I've been looking to do based on a JG/VA G36, and I'd like for somebody more experienced than I to check my work.

I'm interested in picking up a "complete gearbox" to base my build on, since there are a lot of little gearbox odds and ends that are included by default that I don't need to hunt for, and whatever I take out can always go in the spare parts bin. I've been looking at this one:

http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=2282

I know there are some differences between V3 setups (AUG, AK, G36) that I need to brush up on before proceeding. For example, the above gearbox is for an AK, so I know there are a couple things I need to switch out, but I'm not sure if I have a complete understanding of which things, or whether it'll work the way I expect.

I'm looking for any additions, tips or clarifications to the following things I already know below:

1) Ensuring I match my cylinder type to a G36 one if I'm not changing inner barrel length.

2) Trigger? Will the AK trigger work? Can I sub in the actual external trigger part from my G36 and use that in this gearbox?

3) Selector plate. I should be able to just pop a G36 selector plate onto this, right?

4) Nozzle. The one I end up using should match the stock one in length. Ideally one with an o-ring..

5) Motor cage. I'm fairly certain I need a G36 one instead of an AK one. I've been looking at this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-SRC-Vers...ht_1256wt_1180 but I'm not sure it'll work.

What am I missing and what do I have wrong?
