This super lube I've heard so much about, is it the one in a grey tube. Made by synco chemical corp?

Really? I thought it was made by permatex?

Edit: Nevermind, im talking about ultra slick, which is often referred to as suberlube.

You sure you're not getting it mixed up with this?

as much as this thread has turned into a joke... Is it recommended to use superlube instead of silicone oil?

goopy lube is for pistons and gear surfaces/teeth.. oil is for seals and bearings. silicone oil is far too lightweight for the piston and dries faster than grease.

Silicone oil is also very useful for cleaning applications. Pretty much the only thing I use silicone oil for is gas gun mag seals. Everything else gets Superlube.

If it's for a metal on metal application, then you absolutely want grease, rather than an oil. Oils will fling off and creep away from where you want it to stay.

I just started using Froglube. Its for RS application but works like a charm and is only $2 for a small tube of it.

Hmm... interesting. It's even specifically stated as "recommended for Airsoft / Paintball".
