anti reversal latch to decompress spring

as the title says, I am looking for an idea or approach where I can decompress the spring without doing dry fire or literally opening the gun. the project gun is a VFC M4 body and VFC gearbox. The ideas I have so far are these:

1. get a hold of ICS CXP-APE anti reversal latch(ARL) parts and try to fit them inside the project gun.
2. create a small window on the grip and use the window on the driver side of the gearbox to move the ARL back using a thin screw driver.

Do you guys have any other suggestions for this? I prefer something that I can work with selector switch

This seems like so much work to fix something that's barely an issue...

Ditch the vfc gb and get a WE version 2 gb that has the arl trip on safety mechanism... or transplant those linkage bits onto a vfc shell (you’ll have to install some screws for the pivot points; I don’t remember how it all is on my katana)

why do you need to?
It doesn't add any wear to the mechbox or spring
dry firing doesn't decompress the spring, either

Probably gun jams and ease of access to the gearbox. There are times when I want to get into the gearbox but can't access the AR latch but it doesn't want to move or you lose grip and end up breaking the ARL spring.

I have a bent nail ive been using for 10 years, it hasnt failed to undo an ARL yet lol
If you're DETERMINED, We mechbox is easiest but if you're precocking far, might be hard to switch to safe.
Otherwise, on my mp5 i just drilled a hole over the arl shaft, got an arl with a slotted shaft, and can just use a tiny flat head to release it, which in itself is amazing considering its full precocking.
I had concerns of pre engagement due to reasons.

Personally I've used a small 2.5mm Allen key and a pair of pliers to pull the sucker open. Not fun when it slips and I am afraid of elbowing something by accident. That WE v2 gearbox decocker looks amazing imo.

The main reason is that i am trying to come up with a gearbox that never needs to be opened. So far i did the i5 mod with success but removing spring in precocked position.

The reason i am using a vfc gearbox is the better quality and ability to add the ambi gear around it( i am a lefty).

I will check out the WE solution. It looks easier than ICS

The newer version of the we design has metal bits, not plastic like the one in pic

What are you guys doing where lockup on a V2 gearbox is an issue?

Does anyone know if new Krytac MK2 trident models have this feature or not? It was refered to as "spring decompression mechanism". I tried to find pictures and videos online of how it works but no luck so far.

There's none on my CRB MK2. So unless there's a newer version of the MK2 I'd say there's no such thing on those models.
