Solved - DELETE PLEASE

I need help getting my gearbox out of a G&G GR16 R5. Everything is stock.

I almost got it out but there is still something holding it but I don't know what. It seems to be stuck from the back of the gearbox, around where the stock attaches to the lower receiver. Could it be the fire selector and how do I take it off?

If someone could point me to a GG manual or tell me what's left to do I'd apreciate. Thank you.

the G&G manual is absolutly USELESS, trust me. Its a bunch of pretty pictures about the GR series and some engrish about safety precautions.

once you have the stock, the grip, the body pin, and the pin that goes through the body, and the mag release off, you can then take out the mechbox.
pretty much take off everything.

G&G bodies are really tight at the rear. Set your fire selector to the 11 o'clock position and pull firmly and slowly. The mechbox should come out. Pull by the top back of the mechbox and swing it out so as to let the selector plate clear easily and not break it.

the grip is off, I'm fighting to get the stock off and the more I loosen the stock the more the gearbox is "free"... it is a real pain in the a** to get this thing out.

Yeah.. I kinda realized that, but I manage to take it off. Thank for your cue though it really helped me not to break the whole thing.

Without the stock on I manage to pull the gearbox without problem but I absolutely needed to remove the stock since it is screwed in the gearbox. I don't know if you meant that, but if I had done it the way I understand what you wrote I would have made alot of damage to my stock and maybe the gearbox too. Maybe next time be more explicit or be sure of what you state.

Now i have to settle another problem...gee...

Almost all M4 variants are like that. I had assumed that you've done this before, as G&G can be tricky. Without removing the stock, it's basically impossible to remove the mechbox. I didn't bother to mention anything about body pins, etc. as that is common to all M4's.
