.::::Turok's Vipertech X Prime Build:::.

Inspired by Stickman's Magpul/Centurion build. This is my Vipertech X Prime build. Took some time to mod to make sure everything works perfectly. Lower receiver duracoated by me as usual.

Here is your proof I made a video here, just fast forward to the end:

Vipertech x Prime M4 Build - YouTube

So far, performing well with prowin, king arms, G&P mags. Gun cycled ~600 times around 400fps. Vipertech internals are pretty well built and solid, i wouldn't go with anything else at this time point (maybe when GHK releases their M4 GBBR to the public, but we will see)

Looks nice. I like the VLTOR upper receiver too but there are slight coloration or surface finishes between the upper and the lower or the rest of the magpul stuff. Short of stripping the paint and redoing it, are you looking into fixing that or is it not noticible or you are ok with it anyway?

The discoloration is much less pronounced in real life since I deliberately manipulated the colors when taking pictures with my camera. However, both upper and lower appear to be black in reality. As a matter of fact, for a build like this, I prefer if both the upper and lower receivers are slightly discolourated (but not too much) which i find more appealing. The duracoat color I applied is extremely close to the original color on the Prime lower receiver (its so close that the paint doesnt even look like it has been applied). In person, the receiver set resembles more closely to this:

Yeah its not as noticible in normal more yellow lighting. I think it might be a combination of slightly different colors and also the surface finish. THe upper seem to have more of a smooth glossy finish while the lower is more matte finish and is more pronounced black color.

Thats actually a good combo. Magpul makes nice lowers and VLTOR makes good looking uppers.
