Ya know, a VSS would actually be real nice, but I'd say those are even rarer than Dragunov's. Since I'm kinda looking for a CQC weapon, the Bizon stepped up.

Looking into it, it actually wouldn't be that hard to make a Bizon. I'm just a lazy son of a bitch.

Here is the project blog of a creative RA member building his own Bizon AEG.

Here is another completed project.

There is also a conversion kit availible, aside from the complete Russian Mania Workshop AEG.

ok awesome ....i like it. but ok what makes it a "bizon" and not just an ak74u with dif handguards and mag? like i cant take a c-mag and put it on my ak and have it become an rpk. its just an ak with a c-mag

i would think that if you were able to get that angle fixed so that its a real smooth curve and make sure the inside of it isnt rough then there shouldnt be any problems with feeding (if nobody has mentioned that yet)

that thing is right up there with the strange ak that red dawn posted in the ak thread

They wouldn't be hard to join if you used some sortf of PVC/rubber tubing as on some of the LMG's I've seen that have box magazines.

Aren't ak mags inserted with a rocking motion? I mean if this cylinder mag fits flush with the handguard how do you rock it in?

yea ak mags have to be tilted forward before locking them back. i think in his diagram hes getting rid of that "tab" so it probly would just go straight up in like say an m4 mag. curious though as to how it stays locked in place
like of course the real steel version has that done just fine but how are you going to replicate that on your aeg to keep it locked in place?
