Only picture of the ghillie from game day I was able to find. (bottom center, I was hunched over working on something)

Have to make a few minor modifications, but other than that it worked pretty good.

The colors look right. Adding real grass would make it even better.

Indeed, that's what I wanted to do, but we were late getting to the field, had to run it as is.

A note to people making one:

If you can, use the recycled fishing net from Michael's Craft store. (Or, if you're resourceful, like my one friend, you can get it from red lobster depending on their decor choices).

The badminton netting I picked up needs extra reinforcement all along the edges, otherwise there's a good chance the knots that turn string into netting will come undone if your ghillie snags and the shoe goop is pulled off.

That happened to mine on the bottom of the legs, where the most snagging and tugging occured. It's quite a mess to sort through, some sections of netting I have to count as a loss, cut off and replace (only about a 5'' by 5" patch, but still)

To reinforce those areas where the most snagging occured, on the edges I am hand sewing the knots down using extra strength jean thread, than shoe gooing on top of that. Here's a pic of what I mean:

I heard good thing about big fishing net. Those that have thick strings in them. I have yet to find one with the apropriate hole size.

my question, if your enemy wear Ghillie, how u find them. what is your counter for them?

and I probably get lazy and buy hunting gears. ASAT camo is very good if not best.

3D camo is verry effective if well employed.

There is one guy in this picture. And he is not even trying to hide.

If the ennemie is using ghillie, strict and methodical opservation will probably defeat it's ghillie.

Also, during a milsim, if a sniper is suspected to operate in an erea, the commander can order a sweap to dislodge him. It's basically a large skirmish line that walk the field and try to draw it's fire. If the sniper fire, it will get engaged quickly, unless his position is well tought out.

Countersniping is an art in itself. IMO, it can only be done using either a large amount of fire, or a large amount of experience and patience.

When observing for snipers in ghillies, there are several things to look for. If you want to learn them, attend a sniper clinic!

yup.
He was just kneeling there, in the sun.

He did almost everything he could have done wrong to conceil himself, yet, even to the naked eye, he was very hard to see.

Indeed. If that was a game scenario, and I was scanning a treeline, or the brush etc, even with a monocular or scope, I wouldn't notice him if he stayed still. I may if I was making sure to go really slow, and do multiple sweeps.

Especially if you're only looking for typical opfor, rather than a ghille.

Sha Do developped the first Sniper clinic in Ontario. I imported the idea to Québec and made my own course.

That result in a certification program that is recognised at some fields to allow certified snipers to shoot at higher fps.

The clinic aim is mainly on safety, team work, fieldcraft and other real world / airsoft parallel.
