Nice work Jugglez! Now if only CanadaPost would show up tomorrow with my slide and barrel kit you sent me..... then I could post pics of almost the same upgrades but in black :P

Did you not also get in houge replacement grips like the ones I ordered through you back in August? Or did you opt out of the modifications required and go with the slip on option instead?

Actually man, I still have it sitting here. I just like the feel of that grip and haven't bothered with the other one.

I thought there was an issue or 2 with installing the hogue full-handle replacement grips anyway... check the original 226 threads.

Looks great... didn't expect 2 tone on the sig.

Man that looks awesome

An update, I stripped her down again and put the stock hammer spring back in... the problems are now solved!!!! YEAH!!! Shoots nice... seems the Guarder hammer spring is too stiff, and i wasn't about to wait for it to soften up. Perhaps the Proud hammer spring would be a better solution? The stock spring performs well though so i think i'll stick with it for now.

btw, i've uploaded a video of it in action... check the first post.

well if you zoom in on the polished parts you can definitely see the black original coloring in the crevaces. i am assuming that i will be polishing it with fine grit wet/dry sandpaper...probably from 800-1500, then the whole compound/buffing thing. i have to see it closer first. i would have taken a look at my old p226 but i just sold it to malfrat. gonna wait till my new one comes in the mail...should be by early next week.

will keep you updated with pics and posts.
