Good ol' fashioned scatter gun. I've got a metal receiver and trigger guard on that 870 as well, fortunately the fugly wingmaster trades are covered by the shell saddle.

what brand is the receiver and trigger guard? How about the outer barrel?

Besides, now I know the m870 and the m1100, they have complete different design! i like the m870 has the trigger hammer group and gas extractor design. Only down side is no popping sound but since the m1100 has external gas resovior, that makes the shooting sound more realistic.

well make sure you reinforce the arm that hold the bolt cover to the bolt, as well as both arms for the shell latches, those have taken the hardest beating on mine, the bolt arm is what gave completely first though

G&p for both. The barrel is stillplastic. My advice would be to buy a g&p springer Shotty and then transpose the metal bits onto your gas gun, it would cost about the same as just buying the metal receiver and you'd get a metal barrel too.

I just can't stop modifying and fixing! That's the fun part of having airsoft not only just playing to shoot. The more I know them, the more I expect from learning and fix it better.

work like a champ....

G2Sniper dose the KTW stock need modification to fit the TM SPAS12?

Since the M1100/870 shotgun parts so hard to find or order, as long as the used broken part does not wear out too much and still usable, that something I figure out and had it done also works fine.

Fixing the broken shell lifter/loader

Here's mine, a pimped and customized version of the Firepower M1014. Flashlight side mount, Docter sight, Dangerwerx under rail mount with hand stop and rail covers (needs modifications for the firepower M1014, but the rail is bolt on for UTG, Bravo, Crossman versions) Custom single point attachment and shell side saddle. Now I am waiting to receive the triple piston PDI upgrade for better compression and power, will possibly get the KM 6.04 barrel upgrade too. The stock barrels are junk.

Yes, I had to dremel the grip and the hole for the nub on the metal part of the stock. Mine is basically perma locked for full stock.
