Lonex internals?

Has anyone used Lonex internals in their guns? What do you think?

I'm looking for a replacement gearbox for my gun (I got a good deal on a metal body, so it'd be cheaper than trying to replace my KWA G2X body that's cracked), and I was looking at a Lonex drop in box. The local tech likes their parts a lot, but I like other opinions.

This is what I was looking to get http://www.shootercbgear.com/product...oducts_id=2759

I'm in no way a specialist in the matter, having started airsoft only recently (but I do read shitload of stuff so I think I'm kind of knowledgeable to a certain degree). Since no one answered you yet, I'll tell you just this:

Lonex is a division of Prometheus, which people tends to see as having great quality, so I would say it might be a good thing yes.

I haven't tried any of their products though (save for my inner barrel, which is great), so I would wait to see what others with more experience have in term of opinion.

I've read some good reviews on other sites for everything except the cylinder head (I think it was). Guess I'll take the plunge and review them myself lol.

I've seen good reviews about the Lonex parts as well. I have Lonex tighbores in both my AEGs and no problems. I also have Lonex M4 Flash mags and they're great!

I knew lonex was coming out with parts, but the only one I have come in contact with is the flash mag.

Lonex seems well regarded on US airsoft forums like Airsoft Mechanics. I hear good things about the motors in particular.

A bit off topic sorry, that isn't a bad site for parts and such. Anyone ordered from it? Good site?

I know this is old, but Lonex does stuff that most good guns techs do. Machining V2 and V3 shells to fit things like 8-7mm bearings Bearings. Upgrade motors, gears, pistons and other pieces to bigger and more air compression generating components to get the most out of your gear box. Without going to far over a stock component and the best part they do it right from factory.. and sell each piece individually or as entire assembled gear box, so you can literally just break down the gun and swap the Gearbox..

Or if your a good gear head :P swap each parts as you break them.. However they are not the best for overall cranking Fps out of your gun that's Madbulls and a few other parts manufactures department. However I would still give it to Lonex because they tend to keep your gun field legal.

Don't get me wrong either, there are some things tho from madbull I like, that just give you more battery life and protect parts from strain ... like these babies.

http://madbull.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=21_42

and barrels that help increase accuracy.

I'm in agreement. I have swapped out everything inside my WE M4 AEG with: Lonex high speed/torque motor, Lonex gear set, Lonex piston/piston head + a sorbo pad, and Lonex TBB. Am in the process of installing a Modify Accurate hop up ATM (some machining to do). Even without the upgraded hop-up, this gun is a masher.

Wow necro post. But here goes.
They can crank crazy fps and crazy rof out of their parts just the complete boxes that are sold round here are mostly in the field friendly fps ranges because lets face it how many folks wanna buy a drop in box with a 150 spring in it? Noone and someone who is after that most likely has the know jow to swap a spring. Those buyin a drop in box want it easy peasy.
So youll see the 100 and 120 complete boxes more often then 150.
Their gears and motors are strong and ive heard of them running up to 190 springs no problem. Their cylender and piston parts work great together for sweet airseal and smooth operation those wouod be key in building big fps if you think about it. No knocking madbull parts just sayin lonex builds are just as capeable of big fps setups. To the OP grab a lonex drop in box you wont be dissapointed. Grab one of their sexy motors to go with it youll love that too.
