US Army Desert Gear

Hey, I'm not old enough to play airsoft yet, but I'm looking at what gear I should get when I do. I would like to have a US Army Desert Loadout (Like the Soldiers wear in Iraq) and I was wondering if anyone knows the exact loadout?

-Thanks

-3-Color Desert or if they have been issued the new ACU BDUs
-Interceptor Vest (US Desert/Woodland, ACU if they're lucky)
-MICH 2000 ACH Helmet

This is only a general idea of what they carry every soldier is different they have variations.

Goto http://www.militaryphotos.net/ to see what they wear.

um yeah ACU is expensive and kinda retarded looking stick with Tri-Color Desert or Desert MARPAT (if you want to go for the Marine look). the interceptor is exactyl what they wear.

stick with that if possible

Goggles can be Bolle's or ESS goggles again that are variations. Knee pads can be USGI Bijan or Alta, Hatch or BHI Kneepads.

and before you ask about boots its Desert boots which can be Belliville, Altama or Danner's

I wasn't going to ask about the boots because I knew that one already. Thanks for the info on the goggles and pads.

Not if you want it in the RAID cut. Look at the Multicam BDUs (not the ones made by Crye) the run around $240CAN a set and the ACU made by Propper (which does the ACU contract for US Army AFAIK) runs around $190CAN a set. A set of Marpat woodland from tru-spec cost $104CAN

Well you know what they say about opinions... ACU to me is awsome Ive got a full set of kit. does that make me retarded?? Eddie gave you a great list of kit to start with, also hit that link and figure out what kind of look you want. and build towards it.

Good luck,

SockMonkey the ACU Whore!

(still need my Bladetech ACU Holster on chest)
