what kind of holster do you use

I use a OD Bianchi M12 holster. I'm not a big fan of things attached to my legs. So on my hip and out of the way is good for me. Sure it's not the quickest draw, but the pistol is...well...a secondary. One of those nice to have things. In a pinch they're great though; and with the flap retention coupled with a lanyward I don't have to worry about loosing a pistol.

KJ something... American made horizontal shoulder holster rig. Can switch between right and left hand. Extra ammo pouches (2) can be attached to the other side to balance out the weight.

Im looking at getting a BHI Tactical Serpa rig for my 226 something different. The Y harness looks a lot less binding.

6004 and I have never had any trouble with it. The retention clip is handy in the bush, and the hard case provides good protection for my little tiny Glock 26. It's stock and I don't trust it to survive crawling on it in rocks and branches with a soft holster.

The real trick with any drop rigs (I have found anyway) can be summed up in one word..

SUSPENDERS!

A good set of suspenders keeps the weight on your shoulders instead of on your hips. Makes it more comfortable and every stays put if you have to haul ass.

In addition, if you need to ditch the rest of your rig, the thigh rigs can stay. Simple first line.

A holster that fits onto my tac belt that I got for like 5 bucks. I customized it to use velcro instead of stupid snap buttons...I absolutely hate it...I need a dropleg...

I actually shortened mine, made it ride higher for faster draw, only using one leg strap now. Not that I'm short or anything, am 6'0" but like it higher so it doesn't move as much.

Regarding shoulder holsters, I have a CF issue shoulder holster that is awesome, holds my G19 perfectly and a pair of spare mags. Just annoying to deal with wearing a vest or webbing. Next time I play Rawdon, I might use it to have a sidearm but keep it out of the sand. Snad gets everywhere, more annoying than anything, in the bottom of mag pouches, jams AEGs nicely! :-|

How can you prefer one if you don't have one or don't use one?

I had a 6004 but never got the sidearm for it, so I sold it. At least, it WAS comfortable when I played basement commando.

Eagle Industries SAS MK V here. Didn't loose my M9 so far

so I guess this holster works good.
