Looking for an AK!!

I have no idea whyyyy. Just kinda wanna pick one up as a backup rifle. I'm not the type of guy who wants a cheap gun either. I want a mid-high quality AK if I can get one. I really like the black, full metal AK74 style. Really looking to put some money into it as well. I'm seeing a lot of Echo1 AKs but I'm not sure of the quality. I like the Echo1 ak700 and their redstar ak74 as well. But I've heard of the crap internals. Like I said I'm willing to upgrade anyways. But the less I have to swap out the better. This would all be completely new to me as I'm an m4/V2 gearbox kinda guy

Also NOT looking for retailers. I can find those. Just some helpful info on good brands and models

LCTs all the way. Real solid guns. Check a certain retailer because there's a 20% off their guns right now. Spend the money now and you'll not regret later because you got a cheaper brand but the gun wobbles.

Buy an LCT.

............Or buy a CYMA because they are the AK of Airsoft AKs.

If you can afford an LCT, go with LCT. Otherwise, CYMA is a brand I have had no problems with, if you don't care about fancy externals even better.

Some are great, like unissued Tulas.
Most, however, are garbage. But they're garbage that works.
Just like real AKs.

Not quite, there's a MASSIVE difference in quality.

A Tula AK is a good AK. Sure, from time to time, you might get one that's FUBAR, but it's beyond rare.

You will NEVER get a factory stock CYMA that ISN'T pot/monkey metal.

Synard, I suggest you listen to the LCT suggestions, ignore the rest.

The only other 74 I'd be willing to give a shot to these days would be the E&L
