Need help with Motorola Saber II radio

This doesn't seem to fit anywhere else on the board, so I put it here.

I've got a Motorola Saber II radio for team communications. In the last couple of games (read end of season, 2005), it's been starting to go fritzy. It turns on and all that stuff, it can transmit out, but it cannot receive transmissions.

This is the problem. Everyone can hear me transmit to them, but I cannot receive any incoming transmissions from my teammates.

I am using the unit with other Motorola Sabers, but everyone else has a Saber I (ONE) rather than my II (TWO).

I also have a handmike and short antenna installed. Taking these accessories off and using the standard long antenna and radio-mounted PTT does not solve the problem. I have also tried swapping batteries from the team collection, but to no avail.

The radio has been programmed for team-designated frequencies and was programmed with another Saber I unit at the same time, so it shouldn't be a frequency problem.

I should also add that at the beginning of the season, the radio worked wonderfully.

I am looking for possible solutions to get the radio working (hopefully in time for this Saturday's game) or a Motorola Saber II user manual to troubleshoot with.

stupid suggestion, but make sure you're on subchannel 0, for example 1(0), allows for entire comms channel to be recieved and transmitted on or something like that. had same symptoms on my motorolla units, this solved it.
