The only thing airsoft on that setup is the lower receiver and the internals.

It doesn't work with Iphone 4, otterbox doesn't make a case that will attach to it. Unless you have an older iphone model.

A wiseman once told me "The antithesis of the BATF converting a WE to real steel"

I looked into that, I wanted to mount my Ipod Touch onto it with with a ContourHD GPS behind the PVS-14.

That setup would allow me to record and shoot simultaneously, but there would be too much back splash from the screen and too much of a lag time between the ContourHD and the "view finder".

Score major points in the Tacticool category though.

I've been following your builds over the years. I think we can all agree it's time for an intervention.

I could always be bribed out of this demand if you produce a family portrait of your stuff, I quite enjoy those!

did you have to do much machining of the various parts or did they all mate together well without any modification? whats the weight of your build without optics/lights/lasers? 8-10 lbs roughly??

It's not a Gucci unless you got a LMT MRP upper on it, but still a good built though.

All the RS parts were untouched, the only machining I did was to the sides of the trigger box so the upper would close properly, and the hop-up unit.

That setup minus the AAC Blackout FH, replaced with a 3T and no optics is 6.8lb.

I get a lot of "wtf it's so light" from a few guys who has handled it.

Hell, I thought of that too! But the problem is the MRP upper requires a proprietary barrel. It has a thickness right behind the barrel extension where it bolts into the upper receiver, I didn't want to spend too just time on this project.

Seriously Dude?
You have no idea what you are talking about.
Just shut your mouth.

The 32 brits did a bayonet charge in afghanistan a couple years ago as they had run out of ammo against 120 taliban, they killed 90 and the 30 remaining fled. They suffered NO casualties.

The day you pull something THAT ballsy off is the day you get to open your mouth again.

Nice Piece Long, Good to see some of your WIP's come to fruition. I look foreward to seeing some of the other builds you have going on in the background as well

My only beef would be, ditch the rail panels so you can show off more of the hawt FDE rail.

Oh... unless your delicate asian hands need that sort of thing. Hee hee hee. :P
