Anodizing Receivers in Toronto

So I contacted Dave from Imperial Engravers and he said he can CNC engrave a receiver for me but no longer does any sort of painting. I'm looking for someone preferably in the GTA who can re-anodize my VFC lower receiver after having it engraved.

Thanks

Unless it's actually a forged/billet receiver, anodizing will destroy your receiver. The best I can say is invest in Cerakote.

I'm pretty certain that VFC receivers are already anodized from the factory.

And you're willing to bet your receiver on a "pretty certain"

Other far more (I'm not doubting the quality of your experience) experienced gun docs have made that mistake before and had to invest in a new receiver.

Are you telling me that I should make sure or are you telling me that they are not? I was under the impression that the upper was CNCed and the lower was forged, as some retailers list them as such.
