nope, i did not remove the the front end cap. I added some tape around the muzzle brake to fix the silencer wobble.

Ah, okay. The lighting makes it look like it's off, then. My mistake.

Updated my Umarex MP5 to have a full stock. I really like the tac handguard with the full stock. Gun has an M90 spring, GDS-4005 MOSFET, XT-60 connector and Modify 16:1 gears, all done for snappy trigger semi-only CQB action.

Thumbs up T.Y Revolution airsoft for your awesome hourly deals!!!

the 417 was cheaper in Canada than what most stores are selling it for across the border!

to contrast on the times, I think I paid almost double the U.S. price for the mp7 back in 2009, and over double for a Plastic JG 416 back in 08!

The Big-FU gun and the little-FU gun......odly enough they both have 363mm inners

I need more 417 mags

Love the 417, too bad there is no GBBR or PTW version for this.

SlowEddy: I really dig the 417; it's nice to see a 7.62 that's NOT set up as a sniping or sharpshooting gun. I like the CQB battle rifle look. Maybe a small red dot or holosite. Perhaps an Aimpoint T1 Micro.

Posted this in the ''New acquisition'' thread, noticed it would fit great here:
Nothing too fancy, just proud of my first ''real'' Airsoft gun.

I'd say go with the holosight, Aimpoint T1 is too small for a 7.62, kinda like a big guy with a tiny dick...

Also check the latest issue of Surefire Combat Tactics: They profile the California Dept of Fish and Game's new patrol rifle, a Patriot Ordnance Factory P308 with 14.5" barrel utilizing a T1 Micro.
