Thanks! I have the Umarex version, although it was distributed by Elite Force.

I absolutely love it, it's rock solid and incredibly accurate (The stock accuracy with 0.30g BBs is show stopping). The build quality far outstrips every gun I've owned. I had it imported through Capital Airsoft in town, Jeff there was nice enough to get it to me at US Price + the price of a footlong at Subway. I was also able to get 6x 100rd Midcaps with the gun at $35 a pop through Capital.

The only trouble is gear. The HK417 uses a literal brick for a magazine and unfortunately (or fortunately for some people) you have to get authentic pouches. Ended up having to get two Tyr triple HK417 pouches and a Tyr COMA Sniper Harness, which are by no means easy on the wallet.

they don't need to, the gun hits roughly where the light is brightest.
it's made to shoot in a foggy CQB environnement at 10 meters maximum average

Did you feel the need to take the front end off the MP7 suppressor too?

I am looking at the second pic; there's no front cap (end-piece? Muzzle?) on the suppressor. I took it off of mine, too. too many BBs were impacting the inside. Then the whole thing fell apart as the screws stripped almost immediately.
