Whats your favorite gun?

Ok I saw the "what gun have you always hated ?" thread and it got me to wondering. Everyone has their favorite gun some swear by armalites, others AK's. I'm curious as to what they are and your reasoning behind it.

For me the L85 was my favorite, nice and compact and ugly as sin. Though my tastes tend to wander from gun to gun at times.

Im sure this has been mentioned before to death.

Favorites:
Used to and still is P90 (wish they actually chamber something good like 556, in firearms you could just have it stach 60 degrees instead of 90 and it could still probably squeeze 40 rounds)

Used to G36
Used to FN SCAR (2004)

I love my SCAR, which happens to be my only gun and in peices next to me. I have to agree with Gerbalfarm though, I do like the looks of the L85..cute like a baby moose.

Hell yea!
I like MP5s
Not with the normal stock, it just looks all unproportioned to me, unless there is a suppressor. Or a retractable stock is fine. My favourite variant is the MP5SD6.

For me, its the AK47. Not the 74 or 74U, Just a plain old AK47. I've owned an m4, and an m16 too. But still, AK is the perfect gun for me.

I dunno, I just like the simplicity of them, and with my stature they're a perfect fit in my hands. The sights aren't too obstructive to the sight picture (I can actually see around what i'm aiming at. Which regular M16/m4 sights obstruct your sight picture quite a bit)

That, and you don't need to crank a wheel to get the sight to lift up a few centimeters. Raising the sight is as simple as reaching back with your thumb (Without taking your hands off the grip of the gun and sliding it back or forward. So its doable on the go.

Changing magazines is a sinch. I mean, on armalites its easy too... But i've always hated fumbling with a magazine and trying to aim the magazine into the magazine well on an m16.\

With the AK, its just right there, hinge the magazine in and you're ready to go. Thats another plus for me!

Mp5.

Yeah, I've grown to love the Aftermath Lycaon I baught. Surprisingly enough for a clearsoft gun it shoots quite well (faster and harder than my G&G ak47, but not nearly as consistant or anywhere near as accurate)

Much the same with my like for AK's, its a nice fit for people of all sizes. I'm only 5' 9" I think. (Haven't checked in a while)
Its just simply comfortable to shoulder and aim and shoot. I have the rear sights filed to be a bit more open to aim down, though. Can't say i'm too fond of the apeture style.

SIG 550 (also the Swiss Arms Black Special *seen in my signature*) and the Sig 551/552. Heckler and Koch HK53A2. Lee Enfield Nos.1 MkIII
But I like my full length Black Special (semi only civilian model SIG 550) best.
And the Sig P229R, as well the P226R.

while there are some guns that I can appreciate the look of, now that I think of it I cant think of any guns that I would name as my favorite. blades and regular explosives are my favorite right now because of their simplicity.

That only MP5 variant that I like is MP5K or MP5K PDW with grip change to A3 style.

HK USP.45
HK USP.45 Compact
Glock 19
Glock 17
1911A1 government model,
AR variant.
SVD and AK 47
HK G36C
Thompson
M1 Garand
FN SCAR-L and SCAR-H

Well sound like I have so many favorite guns though.

I'm a big fan of Armalites. They just feel right and natural in my hands and when I'm shouldering and shooting them. I'd follow that up with the MP5.

For pistold, Beretta still make my favourite, although I have a nice appreciation for Glocks and the Sig P226.

Springfield M14s, specifically the M21 wit the USMC DMR stock or the Vietnam stile M14A1 SAW. The EBR stock is starting to grow on me to.

The M60E3 with long barral.

Beretta 92FS/M9 and H&K MK.23 SOCOM are damn nice and a peach to fire.
