Front flip up sight for the G&P MOE

Hey Guys

What is the best option for replacing the front sight on an MOE?.

After some research it seems that the G&P KAC flip up might be a good option (will this work with the MOE handguard?). Other than that I guess it would be the VLTOR or gas block & mbus flip-ups.

Option 1: G&P KAK

Option 2 (cheaper): Element VLTOR

Any suggestions are really apreciated.

Thanks.

I would go with the G&P cause its probably better build quality.

As for the MBUS and such? Well you would need a rail atop your handguard.

I use the VLTOR Gas block/front sight combo (http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=950)

Fits quite snug

I think it's personal preference on what sight to get tbh

King Arms makes the exact same sight for the exact same price.

While airsoft parts maybe out of stock, I'm sure you can find another retailer online whom you can source this item through.

I have been using this very same KA Vltor sight tower for 4 years now and it hasnt fallen apart of exploded on me yet. Its been through snow and rain and shows no signs of rust. So the least I can do is attest to its quality.

I really like the VST; however, the problem with the Vltor is that it has a top rail when folded and to me it just looks funny with a MOE handguard, it has to be accompanied with a quad rail handguard...but that is just me...also those clones doesn't come to close to a real steel one...

Agreed with an MOE that would look strange. I have mine mounted on an MRE type rail so it works out nicely.

... T7 is back? Wow.... that's surprising. May I be the first to say, welcome back.

Now to be constructive, I really like the idea of putting a JP Rifles Railed Gas Block on the front end of a gun and then a KAC micro front sight on that.

Thanks for the insights, I agree that the rail may look odd so went with the G&P, will post some pics when it arrives for future reference.

Good choice. Some of the VLTOR replicas out there have the front sight post past 90 degrees. . . :O ACM gear for ya.
