It seems that basspro now has Aftermath Lycaons Submachineguns and Broxa Evolution Special Operations Command rifles but no krakens yet
Are any of those guns good because I don't want to order from Buyairsoft.ca because after reading many post it seems that they are not a good retailer.

I've never heard of the second gun, can you link to it? The Lycaon is not as good as the kraken.

This does look like an ok gun...was wondering if anyone can give any input about it?

For $118, it can't be that bad if it has a V2 mechbox. May need a bunch of upgrades to make it gameable, but would probably be much cheaper then even a JG once upgraded.

400 fps I find that hard to believe but thats what the Aftermath site says. But it is upgradeable with marui parts.

+1, it definately doesn't shoot 400 FPS, but hey, I could be wrong. Curious to find out how much it was selling for at Basspro?

If you are talking about the Broxa then yes it does shoot 370-400fps with .2s

Personally the Broxa looks better when it's not clear! I'd love to pick up an Orphus Socom M14 (wish they chose a better name but they shoot 500fps with .2s)

you and me both Wonder if any will ever make it to Canada? For that matter I wonder why you can see the black Aftermath product up here in Canada yet you dont see any other black plastic receivers get through?

wow - for $140 it might actually be a decent project gun to open up before I do it w. my main.

I'm assuming it's another one of those hit-or-miss type deals; some of the guns are probably great out of the box, while others will die after 20 rounds :S

Because of Canada's stupid customs laws its just easier for Canadian Companies to have the clear bodied versions.

The Krakens are pretty good, I haven't heard of any DOA yet. I would suggest reshimming them though once you get them.

but thats my point- though Aftermath makes a clear version most of the Krakens I see here in Canada are the black and tans ones- not clear at all... like the one at buypaintball.ca. They also had the black and tan Lycaons and they got those through customs... so if those black non-clear guns are getting through to darn near every paintball store then why cant I get my off colour G3s anywhere in Canada lol?
