Very nice build. I want to build a similar one, but SV and Hycomp (with "sight tracker" style barrel, whatever you want to call that)

Paint? I used flat white rust spray paint to have it actually sticked on. With the stipple effect, I sanded down a bit so show the black with white filled holes. The Hello kitty is a stock Dragon. The SVI 5 inch. And the STI open is Shooters Design, and a bunch of brands mixed, nothing special. I'm saving up at least 1k for conversion kit soon with IK stuff. I'm sick of cheap parts. LOL

The best about my open one is I customized it to my own fit. The grip especially. With sanding the trigger guard on the bottom to raise a few mm up, you can actually grip the gun to handle a bit of recoil. Guy's do this on their RS too. Looks fancy too.

Looks good!

However, too many holes for the barrel ports. The slide porting is a replica of the Springfield V12 porting, which should only have 6 holes per side, total 12 holes. Hence, V12.

But... it's custom, so I guess now it's a V16.

hello all

here's my new setup; not mounted yet, just laying on the table.
I'd like to have your comments about the scope placement and all - the scope is a RS NCStar with a verrry long eye relief, theoretically the furthest the better but I don't know for sure.
the scope is to be used at 2X mag. and it's a CO2 pistol, so there's a lot of range and a very good grouping.
what do you think?
more pics when it's mounted.

bulls-eye comp maybe.....magnified scope might have problem with eye-relief at proper grip though....
